Local trick or treat schedules

The following communities have scheduled times for Halloween trick or treat:

Andover: 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31

Ashtabula city: 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 25 on Main Avenue, hosted by businesses; 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31

Ashtabula Township: 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31

Austinburg: 5 to 7 Oct. 31

Plymouth Township: 5-7 p.m. Oct. 31

Jefferson Village: 4-6 p.m. Oct. 25

Conneaut: 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31

Geneva city, GOTL, Geneva and Harpersfield Township: 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 26

Hartsgrove Township: 5-7 p.m. Oct. 31

Kingsville and North Kingsville: 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31

Lenox Township: 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 25

Monroe Township: 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31

Morgan Township: 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31

Orwell: 4 to 6 Oct. 25

Pierpont: 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31

Roaming Shores: 5-7 p.m. Oct. 25

Rock Creek: 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31

Saybrook Township: 5 to 7 Oct. 31

Sheffield Township: 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31

Wayne Township - 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31

Community parties:

Ashtabula Public Library, 335 W. 44th St., will host their annual Halloween party 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27. Registration is required as only 25 spaces available. Call the library to register.

Saybrook Township Park, 5941 Lake Road W. will hold a “Halloween Cruise-in” 1-3 p.m. Oct. 18. Free for all children. Cider, doughnuts and candy treats will be provided. Sponsored by the “Saybrook Classic Cruisers.” Rain date: 1-3 p.m. Oct. 25.

Geneva Recreation Center “Ghoulfest” Oct. 25 sponsored by Geneva Safety Forces and the GRC. Children ages 5 and up may bring an already carved pumpkin between 5 and 5:30 p.m.; parade begins at 5:45 p.m. Walkers start off at Geneva Elementary School where the costume contest will be held and then march to the center for “Haunted Gym” with food, games and candy provided by the Geneva Fire Department. Event ends at 8:30 p.m. For more information contact the GRC.

Harpersfield Township Fire Department and auxiliary will hold a community Halloween party 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 at Harpersfield Community Center, Cork-Cold Springs Road. Children up to 12 years of age that attend Cork Elementary School or live in the township are encouraged to wear costumes. There will be games, prizes and refreshments. Parents are encouraged to attend.
