Courthouses Preservin_Lind.jpg

In this Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012 file photo, heavy machinery is used to demolish the Seneca County Courthouse in Tiffin, Ohio. The structure dated back to 1884 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This weekend, county officials from around the state are gathering in Columbus for the Ohio Courthouse Symposium to share ideas with historic preservationists, judges, architects and others for preserving the state's many other historically significant county-seat edifices.
