ASHTABULA – Elaine Marie (Nelson) Branscome, agr 67, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born Sept. 27, 1941, in Painesville, Ohio, the daughter of Herbert and Bertha Nelson and graduated from Fairport Harbor High School.
 She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.
Her survivors include her husband, Tim Branscome, whom she married Sept. 4, 1987; three daughters, Susan (Jeff) Yenyo of Geneva, Jessica (Jimmy Goudge) Branscome and Roslyn Branscome, all of Ashtabula; eight grandchildren, Spc. James March, Sgt. Jay March, Jacob Hayden, Tony Delmonico, and Alliey, Hailey, Kenzee and Trinity; her mother-in-law, Marge Branscome of Ashtabula; two sister-in-laws, Jean Branscome of Ashtabula and Colleen (John) Bracken of Florida; and one brother-in-law, Marc Branscome of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Ollila; her brother, Raymond Nelson; and her parents.
Calling Hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, June 1st, at New Life Assembly of God, 1961 La Fever Road, Geneva. A service will follow at 6 p.m., with Pastor Harry Pishcura, officiating.
